Thick-It® allows you to easily modify liquids and pureed foods to help people with swallowing problems (called “dysphagia”). It helps decrease the risk of choking and aspiration. It effectively thickens hot or cold beverages and pureed foods, to any desired consistency, without contributing any flavor or odor. It is readily digested and does not bind fluids. Thick-It is cornstarch-based and low in sodium, and it dissolves easily without cooking.
